Prism Recording Studios

Prism Recording Studios are based in Hanley, Stoke On Trent, Staffordshire

and has been recording great music since 1990.

The studio also has a lounge area, chill out room with Huge TV, Video & DVD, Sky Plus, Xbox etc. Great place to have an ear break and only 2 minutes walk into the city centre. Bathroom with Shower also for sweaty drummers and anyone else wanting to freshen up!! Also has its own private carpark.

As well as being the owner and Engineer at Prism mainly recording bands which is what he’s more known for, working on various genres from Rock, Metal, Folk, Jazz, Soul and Punk he has also over the years had many successful remix projects including the following -


Chic ‘Dance Dance Dance’ remix Nile Rogers and Sony Music /DMC Germany.   

Sting ‘All four seasons’ various remixes Miles Copeland / IRS studios.


Wild Cherry, remixed the 70's hit “Play that funky music” Sony music / DMC UK


Aisha (Stevie Wonders daughter) remixed the Peter Frampton Hit ‘Baby I love your way’ with vocals by Aisha.


Sash “Stay” LME remix hit single for Multiply Records.


Bamboo ‘Bamboogie’  LME mix, hit single for Virgin Records.


Shaun is also asked to bring his ‘Dog Ears’ and experience to other studios including

Abbey Road Studios London.  RAK studios London, Angel Studios London.

Prism Recording Studios wins Sony Music Award.

Record producer Shaun Lowe recently won a Sony music award for his work on American band The Drifters top 10 album "up on the roof ' and also co wrote the single 'Do you dream of me' also featured on the album, all recorded and mastered by Shaun at Prism. Pictured below the awards ceremony at Liverpool's Empire theatre celebrating sales of over a quarter of a million.
